Quantum PhD-Days 2025:

The Quantum PhD-Days will take place on June 18 and 19, 2025, with an exciting new dimension: this year, the event will welcome not only PhD students from Saclay, but also participants from the Netherlands, as part of a Franco-Dutch collaboration.

Organized by PhD students, for PhD students, this event is designed to foster scientific exchange and networking among young researchers in quantum science. Master’s students and postdoctoral researchers are also invited to join and explore the latest advancements in the field.

Join us to share your research, engage in scientific discussions, and connect with the quantum physics community!

Registration & Submission:

Participation is free but registration is mandatory before May, 12th of 2025.

For PhD students coming from the Netherlands, travel and accommodation costs will be covered.

Talk guidelines

We strongly encourage all participants to submit an abstract for a talk. Abstract must be submitted before the 12th of May, 2025. Check out the template here.

Talks should be accessible to any young scientist in the field of quantum physics. Speakers are encouraged not only to present their thesis subject—new results are not required—but also to discuss the broader context and key challenges of their research area. They may, for instance, showcase the progress made by their research team over the past years while highlighting the fundamental questions driving their PhD project. Keep in mind that this conference is intended for PhD students; therefore, it is perfectly normal not to have groundbreaking results yet.

We also aim to reach gender equality, please help us achieve our goal!
